Although I've lived in Seattle for nearly 2 years, and although Seattle is surrounded by waterfalls. . .I've never actually gone to see any. That changed today, when Lauren took me to Snoqualmie and North Bend to see not 1 but 2 waterfalls!!

Last night I made plum jam. I'm getting better! I prepped exactly the right number of jars, and I even only made a minimal mess. Also, all the jars sealed and the jam set, so yay! I have enough for everyone in my community group + 1 for the house + 1 for me to have in the middle of winter ( Read more... )
