OMG I just bought a laptop and I think I'm going to have a panic attack because I am really excited but also really freaked out at having spent so much money all at once. This is more money than I have ever spent. Hell, it's more money than I'd had in the bank (between both checking and savings) for most of my life until recently.

So I was offered a job today. A real, bona fide, medical and dental after 90 days kind of job. I'm a little weirded out. I have a sneaking suspicion I was the only one who applied. No seriously. The infamous bag. The handles are, in fact, blue, though it's really only coincidental that that was the winning color. I probably would have made two sets of handles, one in each color, then switched them off until I finally got sick of thinking about it and just picked one randomly. Had the weirdest moment today when I was watching this documentary about these people who found a new dinosaur. They had those animations of what the dinosaur might have looked like and how it compared to some others. A T-rex came on and roared at the screen and I found myself going "aaaww, so cute!"... immediately followed by "where the fuck did ( Read more... ) -

I think my car has no will to live. I think Jean-Claude purposely works toward self-destruction. That's the only logical explanation I can come up with. Because the idea of a brand new, upgraded battery, the third in about 2 years (possibly less) completely dying when I need it most, COINCIDENTALLY, is simply unacceptable.
