I think you underestimate the laziness of the rest of the world. For instance, it took Susan 2 months to respond to a message I sent her on Facebook (I don't care).

On Monday I sent out an email begging my professors to write me a recommendation for a position with a one week deadline. Meaning- I feel like an asshole, too.

I really doubt the rest of the world is this bad. Plus, didn't you used to say Susan and I were particularly similar on the procrastination front?

I'm sure the professors have gotten worse though. See, were I in your position, I probably would have managed to waste even that last week or just decided to give up and not bother the teachers at all, thereby ensuring failure. Cause I'm messed up in the head.

Honestly? Because I hate the telephone. It is an evil thing. It is my least preferred medium for social interaction. Plus I'd bore you to death with my lack of anything interesting to talk about, despite the thrill a minute life I lead.
