It's no secret that I love soundtracks. I have tons to just about any type of genre. Seriously. I love listening to them. new workout
Jeff and I started P90X a week ago (well, a week for me, two for him). Oh god. I'm so damn sore. If this doesn't kick my ass into shape, nothing will. It's definitely something. 12 different workout DVD's, doing a specific one a day, for 13 weeks. This is not for someone who is incredibly overweight and out of shape.

Update before school
I can't believe the summer is almost over. It seems just a few days ago I was frantically trying to teach freshmen chemistry while cramming for my own classes. Then graduation came. Then starting work, buying a house, getting a dog, going camping, going to Germany and Austria, and now graduate school starting in a few weeks ( Read more... ) -
San Fran
Well, apps are fun. I'm updating from the iPhone since I don't have internet.
The hotel we're staying at is interesting, but I'll update about that later, when I have internet on my computer.
San Fran is a lot of fun but I can't see more of it since I have homework due and it has to be turned in class, in person.
Oh well.

I hate doing titles
So I've heard back from three grad schools - two were acceptances, the third was a rejection. I'm still waiting to hear back from one more, but they say that they'll let me know by the end of March. Microsoft SongSmith
I know I number of you guys check out Digg and Reddit, so you probably have already heard of this, but if you haven't, be prepared to be blown away.
Microsoft decided to come up with software that will write music, if you input the sung lyrics. People have decided to try this on already produced songs. What comes out is often sheer genius.
