Contractions, painful or not, are not an amusing or even interesting part of pregnancy. They are nothing but stress factors. No updates yet on the baby biz other than the kicks are becoming a wee bit stronger though possibly less frequent. Drew felt them for the first time 2 days ago before we went to sleep. I had another doctor's appointment on Thursday. It was extremely quick, mostly a bunch of questions asked. Then Dr. Bower decided we could try listening for a heartbeat. He said not to expect a whole lot, but it might be possible. About 5 seconds later, I heard the most beautiful sound of my life. It actually made me cry ( Read more... )

We're keeping the baby. We're getting married. We're both overly excited and scared at the same time. Wedding date to be announced. It'll be within the next couple weeks however. And now, I'm off to New Orleans to have a smashing good time with the folks of VampireRave.

Went back to Wisconsin for a visit with the family and friends. Have pictures. Need to resize them and post. I'll get around to it eventually. 5 months with my Squishy. EEE!
