Woohoo!!! My work was cited in C&EN!!!

Woohoo!!! I just got the email from my boss telling me that my paper was published online for ASAP access! Horray for officially published and accessible to the world!

I made it 70% of the way through Green Grass and High Tides last night. I died right at the part where the strumming gets ridiculously fast.

My very first real paper has been accepted for publication!!! Boss forwarded me the email this afternoon. It was apparently even accepted as is, so I'm just waiting on the proofs and hoping that I can get cover art!

It's currently -13°F out and it feels like -33°F. We're only expected to get up to -1°F today.

My office is definitely not the happy 68°F that it's supposed to be. I'm still waiting for the thermocouple to figure it out. We're at 65°F and falling. . .60°F, 59°F, 58°F, 57°F, 55°F, 53°F, 51°F. . . 50°F.

Woohoo!!! Saturday Matt, Ben, and I passed Green Grass and High Tides on Expert!!! Granted, it was mostly the two guys, but I held the drums down and tried not to screw up too much.
