We've been in NC since Wednesday.  Sandra died Tuesday, and so we went back for the funeral.  We're home now though.  And Ant finally got to meet my aunt and uncle (they're plotting to cut me out of the family and keep him now).

So Ant and I got back on Saturday from Hay on Wye.  Dragging about 50 new books with us.  And we didn't even make it into all the bookshops nor get all the books on our lists.  Although I did get a lovely set of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy in one bookshop.  I love it when the covers of my series match.  I also found a gorgeous SIGNED copy of " ( Read more... )

It is making my brain melt.  Because I am watching horrible movies and reading subpar fics.  Well, Snakes on a Plane was not that horrible, but I could still feel the death of a few brain cells.

I just made a goddamn long post.  And then I lost it.  Screw it.  I'm not doing it again.  I mean, it was a longass rant, and then some happy news.  And now it's lost.

I'm in love with the Stateside Candy Company...I am indeedy.  Their prices may be high, but oh so worth it.  Especially considering if I bribed someone from the US to send me all the stuff I want I would be paying at least twice as much for postage alone.
