Mmmm ... cheeeeese. I would have braved the rain just for that.

I've had a few good Texas reds. Driftwood Vinyards has one called the Super Texan that will knock your socks off.

How did I not know about the wine festival? Sounds like it was fun -- including the river and the tent collapse.

I think some day I want to see if I can live on wine, bread, and cheese alone without keeling over dead from some sort of organ failure. The French do it all the time, right?

It's going on all weekend, if you're interested. If you're up for it, I have tickets for all 3 days and nobody to go with tomorrow. Dunno if I'm up for it after today, but you just never know.
