It finally snowed!

Finally, we have snow in Ohio! I was sort of sorry that the event was almost over by the time that I got up yesterday morning....I was lazy and slept in pretty late

We just had a surprise cold snap here. It actually got below freezing at my house! If CA ever got rain I could potentially have had snow in my yard!
Unfortunately I lost about half my plants. Including the majority of my orchids! D'oh!

I think that I will be loosing some of my crocus and daffodils. We had such a warm spell, that my spring bulbs started coming up. Now that we will be having new siding put on the house, I am afraid that things will get crushed after being frozen. So things may look a little bleak this spring :(

I love snow. It's odd people complain about something so pretty. Plus I live in NYC and originally from Russia so when people say snow about the few flakes and slush that fall upon the city it makes me laugh uncontrollably.

Yes, being from Russia, I would think that you would have some strong opinions about snow!
