i've been reading Jeff Galloway's MARATHON you can do it! and as far as i can tell the 48 hours before the marathon (or a long run) it's very important to make sure you drink at least 8 oz. of water every hour you are awake. as for carbo loading .. argh! more to stress about!!!! ;)
i plan on taking it slow for the first 18-20 miles ...and hitting every aid station along the way!
