Several years ago I made a giant bucket of laundry soap, of which I made the fresh grannies lye soap myself. I used it and I loved it, but noticed over time my whites started to not look as bright. Livejournal vs Facebook
This livejournal I have pretty much abandoned. Some of you might be coming here from facebook as I have been posting some of my cooking photos on there with the livejournal tag on them. Project homemade laundry soap completed.
OK I got the laundry soap all made. The blue specks you see is from some end slices I had from some lavender-rosemary soap left over. They are made with mineral oxides so they will not stain the laundry. I decided to add it because it was just scraps and needed to be used up.
