Oh, honestly. You need to get over this fear of what people will think of your writing. No one's going to see it until you sell it, and by then it will be a super-awesome polished masterpiece. I'm sure of it. But in the beginning? It's going to be shitty. That's just how these things work.

You can't write gold the first time you put pen to paper. But if you love it, you've got to stick with it.

What you need to do is just write - make bullshit characters, work your wondrous themes, and worry about plot later. Just get a draft finished. Everything will go much smoother after that.

Trust me.

NaNoWriMo is great for a good kick in the pants, but you'd have to wait for next year's November. ;_;

It's not really a matter of being afraid what other people will think. Everyone already thinks that I'm a pretentious joke, so I can't really hit any lower than that. The anxiety was far more introspective.
