Last night got real interesting around 10:00 p.m. I was working on cleaning out the sink and came across a rather stubborn butter knife that had gone through the dishwasher at least twice and still had a clump of--I assume--peanutbutter baked onto one side. So I figure I'll wipe it off and toss it in to the dish washer with the next batch of ( Read more... )

Holy crap, dude. Do you just sit there refreshing your friends page? And fix your system time, woman. :)

A likely story...

And these are butterfly closures. Adhesive on either end, not adhesive in the middle. Designed to keep the two sides of a cut held together.

I had the same sort of almost-passing-out thing that time that your dog had gotten into the trash in my bedroom and pulled out a catfood can lid and left it in my doorway for me to slam my toe into/slice my toe open with at two in the morning one night when I got up to use the bathroom. It wasn't bleeding that much, not what I would think was enough to make me light headed, and yet I got incredibly nauseous and almost passed out a few times. I've never had a problem with blood before or sense, and had it explained to me as an adrenaline response.

Plus, if you're barely awake and look down to find a puddle of blood around your foot, you tend to panic a bit, I guess, even if you wouldn't normally.
