We are all settled in here, and Brendan is working like a maniac reading 1000+ pages each week. I have my hands full with 5th-graders. I actually used my eco theory text book to make some visuals for them! It's nice being outside all day every day, and it is very rewarding when I can answer their questions about the way the world works. One

Glad to hear you've settled in! What sort of school are you teaching at? It sounds very interesting. Karen and I are settling back into living together after a year on opposite sides of the globe; it's going well though. She's now on the substitute teacher list for my district, hopefully others will soon follow. I'm doing a unit on the Holocaust with my students and we're reading "Number the Stars." The kitten continues to be cute. Life is good!

I'm teaching at the Bradford Woods www.bradwoods.org
It's fun! I take 5th graders around the woods and teach them about trees and eagles and water bugs etc.
