What a fun day! We had some bats visit WonderLab, and I got a photographer to come in and take publicity photos for free. I planned the volunteer training with the volunteer dept director, and I am in charge of the ice breakers (my favorite part). I'm enjoying my new job! It's fun and non-profit, which I like, and(so far)it's pretty easy. Today I got to do an animal adaptations talk in front of 40 first-graders. I got a job! I'm going to be working at the wonderlab planning and leading fun programs, training and recruiting volunteers, and playing with kids in the museum. Yay!

Just a quick update: After 3 months of chaos and children at work, I'm finally settling into the winter season of curriculum planning. Brendan and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary last week! I'm coming home for Thanksgiving, but not for x-mas, and would like to see as many portland friends as possible.

Now starts the busy season at work. We have groups in every day, ranging from 3rd grade to high school. Mostly environmental ed, but some religious stuff too. I went to a wine tasting class today, and I am getting better at knowing what I am talking about there. It's Little 5 weekend and everyone was out and about.
