I finally had a day to relax and get my voice back. I guess I didn't realize how much yelling is involved to get kids to pay attention in the woods. Of course, the biggest problem with my job is how Brendan always wants to go hiking on weekends, and by that time, I want to veg out indoors for a change. We are all settled in here, and Brendan is working like a maniac reading 1000+ pages each week. I have my hands full with 5th-graders. I actually used my eco theory text book to make some visuals for them! I had a wonderful graduation and spent some quality time with my family! We went to Quebec city and enjoyed the European-like flavors there. I am onto my summer work, researching tiger habitat restoration potential in China. No, I don't get to go there, but I do get to go to India......na.

Last day of classes as a college student is tomorrow! Brendan is finishing his honors thesis and I am sitting idly by. I had a good time at Colby, it definitely could have been better, but I learned a lot. I hope that this transition goes well, I'm a little scared. Your support would be much appreciated, my friends.

I had two lovely walks today! The sun shone all day which made me happy. I also made a poster. And reservations for Quebecois B&Bs! I had my first cadburry egg in my whole life today...and my first taste of nacho cheese...I liked the first better. I have my summer all planned out, going to stay at Colby again, and then take a trip to Europe.

I had a big exam today, read 50 text book pages, worked on the website and the audit.
I also applied for a job yesterday as a high school biology teacher at an independent school in Indiana. Senioritis is setting in...I could use some good distraction.
