I sucked it up and bought a GPS off Ebay last week. I expect it to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. So, now I need to plan an outing that requires the use of said GPS. Hrm. It has to be inexpensive, perhaps hiking? The real reason I bought the silly thing is that I still don't know this area well enough to prevent getting lost. I'll know how to

Yeah, Charlie actually ignored it, then ran to the dog's water dish as soon as I opened the door. Sigh. At least I don't have to feel guilty if I accidentally lock him in the 'cat room' all day.
