Amalgamation
We have a new desktop, and it's so much faster than the old one! The monitor was new a few months ago (right before the old desktop died) so we only had to buy the actual computer (cpu? I'm computer-bits illiterate). I'm trying to be all tech-y by upgrading the memory on both the new computer from 1gb to 1.5gb and the laptop from .25gb to .75gb, ( Read more... ) -

Not ready for school
So, my trip to DC and Maryland was fun, but I'm still recovering. Thankfully I now have off this weekend, though I have to do Turtle Rescue Team treatments Saturday and pet-sit Sunday. Considering treatments took me over 4 hours last night, I may as well work ( Read more... ) -

They grow up so fast *sniff*
Just as I'm growing attached, the kittens will be leaving tomorrow. While I'd love to keep one, I'd feel irresponsible doing so. That, and I want my next pet to be a tortoise, and Penny deserves a puppy friend before we get another cat ( Read more... )
