So, my trip to DC and Maryland was fun, but I'm still recovering. Thankfully I now have off this weekend, though I have to do Turtle Rescue Team treatments Saturday and pet-sit Sunday. Considering treatments took me over 4 hours last night, I may as well work ( Read more... )

Likewise. :) I've been enjoying the chai tea you gave me, and I now carry like 3 different Burt's Bees things in my purse at all times.

Thank you for the encouragement. It's just really frightening facing the "last summer break of my life." I feel old, yet not old enough...

You're right about the waking-up-early getting easier. Somehow I got used to waking at 3:30am to take Ryan in, and began waking up before the alarm. I may have to go to sleep around 8 and just stay awake once I drop him off.

Yep, everyone I know is fine, but it's a huge mess up here. Thank God it's north of us, I don't go near that bridge at all.
