Aw I LURVE diamondback terrapins. They are so gorgeous. We have two of them (healthy, full grown females) at the part of the zoo where I volunteer and they are awesome. Have fun with them! :)

I want to take the baby home SO BAD! But I won't, because he needs to go back to the wild (damnit). It will be fun taking care of him until release, though.

I came on over after your awesome reply to that stuuuupid knitting community post and saw this post and had to comment. I go to UMD and our mascot is the terrapin. Our paper is called The Diamondback. So I have a soft spot for these little guys :)

Baltimore county- Rosedale to be exact. I went to Loyola for undergrad, and hopefully I'll be returning to the area this summer once I finish vet school. I really miss how much always seems to be going on in Baltimore; Raleigh doesn't really compare.
