yes, i had guppies. fish are a poor substitute when you want a dog. double. i lived in one apartment with a single kitchen sink and i hated it. grilled cheese and salami sandwich with pickles.
I did have an aquarium for a while but finally got tired of it and gave the tank and associated plunder to someone who I never laid eyes on again after the fact.
I agree. It's a lot more work than what most people think it is. Even just keeping guppies, mollies, and neon-tetra's alive and healthy was something else. One thing they never mentioned in any of the hobby books was that some types of fish are meant to live in schools and it is very stressful for them to only be in a tiny group of say 2 or 3. Stress of course means the fish die fairly young, develop screwy behaviors, or they catch every disease possible and die from that.
[I've often wondered why the person I gave my tank to never said so much as "boo!" to me ever again. I was so used to people acting like this when I lived in Miss. that I was shocked when people actually started calling and talking to me once we moved up here to Indiana. This is a major reason why I don't want to ever move back to Mississippi---I'm sick and tired of their unfriendliness down there and I don't want to have to deal with it ever again. Hubby and I had a rather heated discussion about moving back to Miss. after he retires last night. He thought it would

That they are...
I have always had a single sink and wondered about it.
Sounds good! I tend to do my grilled cheese sandwiches with bacon.

To properly care for them is a ton of work. I tried, but it wasn't worth it in the end.

I had pond full of shubunkins. I found it very restful, sitting by the pond, watching them swimming around.
I have a one and a half sink (a small one next to the big one).
Steak and Stilton pie I bought from the local market. Had them before, very yummy.

They really can be lovely. Did you have to give them up?
What do you tend to use the small one for?
Yum! Sounds very good, indeed.

Sadly, left them behind when I moved into a smaller home. I missed them for a while.

I use the small sink for washing and draining my veg.
Yum! Sounds very good, indeed.

Single, we only need that; in fact when we renovated we made the sink a little smaller.
Keema curry and rice, yummy.

I'd say they aren't really with the effort, not if you properly take care of them. I, sadly, never seemed to have the time.
Mine is a good size, but it's a single, too.
Very yummy sounding!
