My mom used to make homemade fudge and peanut brittle at Christmas. If I had to choose, I’d take the fudge, but I loved both.
I can’t remember the last time I saw an ashtray anywhere.
No worse than it is in the spring, summer or autumn. We don’t get snow very often here.

I could never warm up to fudge. It was always too sweet for me, but peanut brittle - you!
Same here. I'd forgotten about these.
I don't need snow to get lost. :P

I didn’t say my sense of direction was good … just that it’s no worse in winter. 🙂

My favorite came in with candies like those in the picture. They were hard, peanut shaped and had a peanut buttery filling.
I haven't seen one of those in a long time.
It's the same as summer, etc, lol. Okay.

1) Are you familiar with chocolate coins? That's the best-known Hanukkah candy (we usually have a type of jelly doughnut to nosh)
2) It was when my family visited a family that they knew in the Chicago area (the son smoked cigars, which I wasn't thrilled with)
3) Like in other seasons, it depends on how often I go from Point A to Point B

I did love those candies. But, my favorite was my Mom's homemade fudge.
Wow, beanbag ashtray's. I do remember those. I don't see ashtrays anymore, anywhere. Not even in my 2020 Subaru Ascent.
No different then Spring, Summer, and Fall.

we have an ashtray in the car and truck, but the truck's a 90 and the car's a 2000.
