Gifts etc
We definitely went overboard with Hannukah gifts this year. The baby has gotten a playhouse thing, blocks, a shaking ball, spinning wheel, remote conttol car (my husband controls it and the baby crawls after it crying), and something else I can't remember. And there are threr nights to go plus Christmas. We need a toy chest!

it has been a while
I totally forgot about LJ. work has been very busy and annoying as usual. This year my new school has a bunch of people who are drama queens and who are very immature. I didn't realize adults could be that way. Its all well she said this and so and so said that and arg!

The midwife told me the baby will probably be 8 pounds when born. that seems huge to me, especially as a small person. Hmm....
My feet are swelling now too. Well, I should say foot. Only my right foot, it's weird and seems to happen randomly.

Third trimester is starting to hit. The baby has dropped a little and is now taking out his energy on my hip bones and pelvis. Not super comfortable... and there is no good sleeping position despite the crazy pillow. How are there still two months of this left?

The baby is pushing something into my ribs and it is very uncomfortable. oh well. I am 24 weeks now and I have gained 12 pounds. I have no idea if that is a lot.
I am trying to resist the pull of buying more maternity clothes until the third trimester but it is very hard. I am really getting sick of the one pair of work pants I have.

I am very pleased that my husband actually took initiative and cleaned up our increasingly messy office- soon to be baby room. The mess is both our faults but my motivation for cleaning it and keeping it neat are completely gone. he showed it to me when I was really tired so my response was probably not what he hoped. not cool nature
Apparently the hated tree is leaving tomorrow and the plumber is coming the next day to fix the pipe and then the next day they are fixing the sidewalk... I am not super hopeful.
We were planning to go to Tahoe next weekend and I was really excited but now the wildfire in Yosemite has smoke spreading all the way to Nevada and I am worried it will ( Read more... ) -

I have been watching this huge spider crawl across my bedroom ceiling for ten minutes. It is a really high ceiling so I can't reach it even if I stood on something. I have been debating if I should leave it along and chance it dropping on me later or try and throw something at it hoping it will fall off so I can kill it. Oh what to do? And how do ( Read more... )
