1) LA LA LA a bike ride helps you keep happy 2) Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work" 3) Fruit punch with flavour crystals! 4) John Gillespie Magee 5) Hard to say, but my first vivid one is receiving an email asking where I had gone. I was deeply moved. 6) A giraffe. I don't know why... 7) How have you come to know so much about the music underground? 8) You get dispensation as well because you started all of this ;)
Ouch! You need to warn me before you use your teeth... ;)
1) You know a lot more than you let on to almost everyone 2) Ghost In The Shell 3) A chunky mix of dark purple grape and dark red cherry 4) You've helped me realize the gravity of the situation we are all in 5) The profound insights you gave in replying to dirtybunny's posts 6) A perigrine falcon 7) This was tougher than I expected... There are so many things I'd love to ask (I've been mulling for over 15 minutes), but I'm going with a complete tangent to everything I considered: What kind of erotica do you enjoy (none is an acceptable answer... as are "forms" rather than specific "content"/"subject")?
since i'm not posting this in my journal i'll answer your question here :)
i don't know if "enjoy" is the right word - but when i peruse it's usually written or comic-style. i like honesty, intelligence, humour and humanity - however it's incorporated/displayed. i have few positive/enjoyable sexual experiences of my own; it's difficult for me to appreciate "fantasy" erotica or stuff based purely on the physical.
Thank you for answering. I debated with myself fiercely about whether or not to ask it, but all the other questions I came up with were things that I'd only want to ask you in person (or on the phone), or they were totally lame. Since the 'net (and Western culture in general) is saturated with the stuff, it's a question that I'm always curious about.
honesty, intelligence, humour and humanity
Hmmm... precious little out there (past, present, and presumably forseable future) that meets with that seemingly very sensible criteria :-(.

1) You are a lot more interesting than most people around you realize. 2) Robert Palmer - Addicted to Love 3) Hmmm... tough choice. For you, my dear, classic lime! 4) I think that your accent is... 5) Trying to find other interesting people in NC by doing LJ searches and reading people who had recently posted. I did this every few weeks in a pretty much random way. Yours was the first that I ran across that kept my attention (P.S. still is... I still search from time to time...). 6) A hummingbird 7) Do you plan to spend the rest of your life in NC? 8) If you've done it before, don't bother doing it again ;)
Ah, my dear ms_pooka, I feel as though I know you better than most of the people I've actually met in person... but I have grown to regret having posted this because it has turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be.
1) I think of you as a leader in hiding 2) Wings of Desire 3) Jalepeño flavoured (with real capsicum!) 4) Tick, tock. I am the man in the yellow hat. 5) Your eloquent and entertaining comments to gamutalarm and the formation of ladiesofleisure :) 6) A gazelle 7) So many questions... okay, how/why did you become vegeterian? 8) Special dispensation!
1) i'm a conflicted leo. 2) i don't think i saw that one unless it happens to be the period piece starring helena bonham carter in a threesome. 3) i'm so impressed you didn't forget the agar agar! 4) holy crap. what does that mean? are you the stalker that's been hanging around my building? or dick tracy? 5) we'll never see gamutalarm again. i just know it. 6) lordy. i wish. in my mind, i'm a gazelle. in life, i'm still hippo ballerina. 7) i couldn't bear the thought of the pain, suffering, and death of animals just because i liked the taste of meat. i also believe it is unhealthy (especially in its modern, factory-farmed state) and environmentally irresponsible. i tried to wean myself, but ended up going cold turkey. 8) yes!

2) Now there's a film I'd pay to see, but this is Wim Wender's 1987 film. Actually had Nick Cage and the Bad Seeds in the movie (playing in a club) as well as doing some of the soundtrack. If you get a chance to see it (especially on a real screen, but video will do in a pinch), I would highly recommend it. It's a beautiful and evocative bit of cinema.
what does that mean?
4) Hmmm... It's the most precious thing I've ever sent to you. Does that help?
7) Always curious about people's reasons... they are so diverse.
Wow... we've known each other forever! I'm worried that my memory has faltered completely...
1) You live and play music with the same voice 2) Jethro Tull's "Broadsword" 3) Do I have to? ;) Okay, okay... purple vodka jello shooter (lots!). 4) All night sessions with soldering irons 5) My first vivid memory is when you moved in with me after you were kicked out of your house by your father 6) Finally an easy one... a chipmunk, of course! ;) 7) Geez, what don't I know already??? Um, if you had to live someplace that wasn't North America or any of the British Isles where would you go? 8) Good luck!
