I often feel that way before Maelstrom events - completely meh, but then have a great time. I can also never work out why I have had a great time afterwards...

Oh, goodness no. It's not just you or Dan. It takes me anything from the day before to two hours after time in to find my enthusiasm. I only started enjoying last event on the Saturday.

I figure if it gets, as LT did, to not finding it all, then it's time for another break. But MS so far hasn't let me down.
