So here I was, excited that the Mage Chronicler's Guide was finally to be published in a few weeks' time. I got notified today that it had arrived in the warehouse and asked to confirm my address for my comp copies.

Stupid "system opens at Noon EST"

One mad dash home (Noon EST is 5pm here), I log into the system at 5.15 to find everything connected to the Con has already gone. But I got into the Canterbury, which I think blackhatmatt stayed at last time.

Victory!

Just had our offer accepted on a house. Home ownership here we come (subject to xurvey and gazumpers).

...Turned out to be three of our guests being in a car accident on the way to the Wedding. No one injured, fortunately, and many witnesses to the Polish lorry-driver side-slamming them.

Thank you to everyone who came or offered good wishes. I write this in an hour's internet break before packing for Hawaii.

1) Dave2's suit has been delivered to me, not to him. Not insurmountable, assuming he's been laying off the pies and it fits.

2) The hotel for the honeymoon has now seen fit to begin building work. I am waiting on a call from our travel agent as I type.
