Back to normal. (For a kind of narrow definition of normal, admittedly...)

So it's now a couple of weeks since my 102 day run ended and I'm very ready to be doing that historical interpretation thing again.

Kind of handy, really, as tomorrow morning I help out a friend by stepping into a role in which I was not originally cast but which is crucial to a presentation that cannot happen unless I do it tomorrow. It's always ( Read more... )

Of course, you are playing a sneaky monk. Some things are inevitable.... :-)
I'm sorry to hear about Southsea, that really is a shame. I hope something can be worked out.
Speaking of Tudor things, do you still have my kirtle? I seem to remember that it went to Southsea without me, the lucky thing. You're welcome to continue using it if you need it, but if you're de-Tudoring your closet let me know and I'll pick it up from you.
Glad things are going generally well for you! x

God, yes, I do. It (and another kirtle borrowed from Gill of Trouvere) came out of the 'Southsea only' costume box as the rails in the Wardrobe got filled and I told myself 'Crap! I must remember to return costume that I've borrowed'. Of course, three weeks later I set someone else to packing away the contents of the Wardrobe and promptly forgot about it again. Many, many apologies.

Thanks for the offer of the continued loan. I'm hoping that TF will continue at a new site, but will happily excavate your kirtle out and post it to you if you wish. Please be assured that if I do resort to selling off kit, I would recognise that certain pieces do not belong to me and would return them to their proper owners rather than sticking them on eBay!

That's fine, hold on to it for as long as you need! Sadly I don't have time for much other than medicine at the moment - finals are approaching with alarming rapidity - so I won't have occasion to wear it in the near future. Fingers crossed for future TFs - maybe one day I'll wear the kirtle again!

So, you'll be rolling a new character 5 minutes after time in at Insurrection then? ;-P

I'm looking forward to it...

I imagine you are, but it's probably not too late to register a different character.

Seriously though, I reckon you'll have a whale of a time as a human.

Is it? That could have been embarassing... I'd better do some re-planning with regards to travel, I guess!

Oh pish. Nothing could make Hendrik happier than to be rescued by a crack human commando team I'm sure.

If you are at the Tower wednesday, there are several of us heading for post work drinks at the Crutched Friars tonight. (from about 6:30 ish I would expect)

Of course this is probably too late for you to see this before you head to the Tower. Poor planning Si.

Plus I have a long standing Wednesday evening commitment that I couldn't have cancelled at such short notice. Next time, Childs, next time!
