Lizzie--we all go through times like that when we just can't feel optimistic. Trust me--I've gone through plenty of times like that. But trust me--it will pass, because I know that you're strong and your brightness and happiness will always shine through--will overcome even the toughest situations. We will totally make eachother happy on Spring Break--that's for sure! And while we're laying there on the beach, laughing at random things, and being high offa caffeinine, we'll wonder how we ever could've been sad.

hard times do always pass. unfortunately experiencing them is the worst. i guess by hindsight you do find out though that everything happens for the best and because of hard times we only come through stronger then ever. :)
