Things are looking upward. terrier_girl is feeling better and has almost her full range of motion back. With some quick math, we've realized that the pregnancy has added almost 25% to her mass (Now with 25% more Terrier!) and that that is likely to put some strain on her body. Tomorrow marks the start of week 24 and the point at which Nubbin might survive if born early. terrier_girl had her OB appointment yesterday and everything looks good and normal, but still, we're preparing. Back from Rites where I supported my ladies full time to a week of unpacking and then getting ready for V's birthday party. Tired, getting grumpy, and looking for a little more me time.

My mood has been poor this week. The worst it's been in a while. The constant rain isn't helping, but that didn't seem like it would be enough to drive me this low this fast. Then I remembered that this weekend is the anniversary of Gilly's death. And somehow knowing why I'm feeling this way makes it easier to deal with.

Yesterday was a little sucky. terrier_girl lost her steam, then I had a blood sugar FUBAR that took 3 hours to set right. By that time she was grumpy at me, I was grumpy at her, and V was grumpy at both of us. This morning Terrier got violently sick and carpet bombed the bathroom. I got to help clean up. Mother's Day yesterday. I rocked the quiche. Even the crust came out right! Then an afternoon of chasing V around the garden store and putting in the summer's veggies.
