Just an update, because I don't do it enough. Kyler and I just got back from Auburn, Alabama, where we spent the last few days scouting for houses to live in. We got there Tuesday evening and explored town a bit, then found a hotel to settle into. Well, we're back from Florida. It was an amazing weekend and I really enjoyed all the relaxation and the opportunity to visit and spend time with my family. My father's not doing well at all unfortunately, but this past weekend was the first time I really connected with my sister in years. Well, we're mostly set up in the new house and we finally have TV and internet. Still no phone, Kai's gonna send it to me when he can though. Well, things have been pretty crazy lately. Kyler got a promotion at work out of nowhere and they gave him the position of store manager for a store in Thomaston, GA. For those of you who don't know (and I don't know why you would), Thomaston is a little town about an hour north of here, about 50 minutes from Atlanta. Too far for him to commute ( Read more... )
