I have a date Wednesday night! Yay! It's been forever! Oh, well, I guess I went on a date in Austria...but I don't count that. First dates are fun, exciting, and make me nervous. I can't wait! :)

So, life is going well. I'm dirt poor at the moment, but I'm happy. I just got a job teaching voice and piano at a local community music school 4 days a week, and I'm really excited about it. I'm auditioning for a European agent today! Yay! I'm excited and nervous!

Also, I'm working on a cute Austrian boy. Maybe nothing will come of it, but it's fun to flirt. haha! :) I'm just glad he speaks English really well because my German is nicht so gut. I'm getting better though. Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch, aber ich lerne.

So, I'm exhausted and I'm having a slight melt-down. I'm in Austria right now at a summer program for singers. I entered the competition here and we had the preliminaries today. Ok, so three of my roommates have gone to Charleston for a month for the Spoleto festival. This makes me sad because I will miss them. It also kills me because it leaves me alone with our roommate Ashley...who drives me insane. I just picked up my cap and gown today! I'm so excited! I've gone through excited/sad/scared at different points and probably will continue to do so, but right now I'm psyched! :) I had to try it on as soon as I got it. I really need to be studying for my oral exam right now, but I'm giving myself 5 minutes to post. I'm really freaking excited about the opera next weekend! My recital is over, I'm kind of happy and kind of sad. It was soooooo fun performing. I want to do it again! Overall, I'm extremely happy with how it went. There were 2 big mistakes that I wish hadn't happened, and a few other small mistakes that were completely covered and I'm pretty sure no one even noticed.
