Merry Christmas!
I have no legitimate reason to be celebrating this holiday, but no matter.

My parents are stuffing stockings in the next room, and I'm writing fic for my little brother, since he drew me something. (We're giving each other legitimate presents too, but this makes it more fun. Also, he will never be able to predict what I'm writing ( Read more... )

It's bound to be entertaining, especially considering how cracked out of our minds we have been on holiday cheer.

Exactly! Any excuse to visit your awesomely deranged family, and your even more deranged friends, and burst spontaneously into song and take pictures in silly hats is okay by me. (Most of the time there's not even drinking involved.)

Hahahaha, awesome. My grandparents on my mom's side had a bar in their basement.

Actually, there is always drinking involved at my family things, but it usually starts after the general madness kicks off.

I have listened to virtually no Christmas music this year. Still, if my mother puts the James Taylor Christmas CD on tomorrow morning, I will probably have to body-tackle the tree.

The 30th! I don't know if there's internet at Massanutten, but god knows I have cell phone minutes to use.

I'll be in Virginia till the 30th, but yes! Absolutely! Especially since there will be fuck all to do here once the holidays are over.
