I am hungry.  Figuratively and literally.  I am existentially starving.

My arthritis is acting up in my right knee.  It's over sensitive and painful regardless of position.  I have only started taking turmeric so haven't felt any anti-inflammatory improvement yet.

I feel so blessed today. They agreed to reschedule my interview to today, I am on my way to see my grandparents with my family, and I am feeling restored.  I am hopeful for a promising future. I may not get it but at least I'm allowed to compete this time.

Alright.  I didn't understand the popularity of the good doctor when he originally aired on the Oprah Winfrey show.  I don't understand the popularity of his own show.  And yet, for the past four hours I have been binge-watching nothing but Dr.Phil.  What is wrong with me!

I had a short nap this afternoon and now feel wide awake. I have a craving for a bowl of cereal but I've already eaten a hearty day's worth of calories.

I'm in a rut.

I can't shake this antsy feeling. The precursor to mania in my life. Do something, do something, do something.  I need to focus and finish my laundry.  Clean the bathroom.  Take out the trash.  I have so much I should be doing!! Why can I never seem to focus?
It's driving me crazy!!

I have spent the day toiling and roiling over things. Work was demanding this week but no more so than the mental acrobatics I performed every hour. I have come to some random conclusions that I will dispense with now.

Tried to call ahead to verify my prescription was ready but the line just kept ringing with no answer.  So I take myself to CVS, hoping it is ready for me, and there's a ridiculously long line in the drive thru.  My own fault for wearing Jammie without a bra or I could try walking into the store.  Add to that the fact that I've been incredibly ( Read more... )

New things are happening at home and I hope it's for the good. We are switching service from Wow to DirecTV.  We will be replacing our broken water heater for a tankless version...eventually.  We switched the seresto flea collars on our pets and will be flea free for the next 8 months (it really works! It's been a long time since I updated my journal and I don't know where to begin.

I love this woman.  I know she does the ABAB rhyme scheme to death, but she captures the screeching madness of my soul and makes it purdy.  God Bless.
