Blood test postponed due to cold. Apparently having a cold throws off the results... Who'd of thunk it?

So I had a blood test a week ago. Got a letter from the doctor saying I had an elevated white count and he now want an FBC (Full blood count) run.

So should I be panicking?

 Is was throwing out some spam leaflets today when I noticed that we have a faith healer coming to Peterborough. For some reason I feel moved to make some kind of protest / complaint but am unsure where to start.
