I apologize if I disturbed anyone with the little... mishap last night. Rest assured, I will keep a much better eye on Peeves from now on.

To my students: my classes have been moved to the dungeon at the opposite end of the hallway until further notice. I'm still cleaning up the mess.Also, is anyone willing to owl-sit for a day or two? It's ( Read more... )

Umm, I might be able to help you sir. If you can't find anyone else, I mean. I don't know a lot about owls, but I know some stuff about small birds.

*little smile* Okay. Umm, is there anything real important I need to know? I just give Altair seeds and berries from outside, but I know owls don't eat that.

Well, usually, I just give him little bits of meat during meals. If he gets hungry in between, he'll probably go catch some crickets or something simliar. He's really not much trouble, and he's very smart.

I lost some work, but no one was hurt unless the smoke has a delayed effect that hasn't hit me yet.

Do you know of any wards that will keep specific non-corporeal presences away? It would be best for all concerned if I can keep Peeves away from my research entirely.

*sighs* Unfortunately, he is as corporeal as he chooses to be. I do, however, have a combination of wards and spells on my own classroom that is sufficient to exclude all unwanted presences. Would you care to study them?
