I loved all the wonderful brother codependency in this and it was wonderfully disturbing in places - especially Corbin choking Sam - just like a good horror show should be. The healing did seem to be glossed over for the sake of filling the time with hurty goodness but I'm not about to complain about that. I had a slightly different take on how our boys recovered so quickly and had to write a little coda for it here Saving Sam It's non explicit implied past Lucifer/Sam and is more hurt/hurt than hurt/comfort. Eek *runs away*

It is also my personal headcanon that Sam was septic by the time he got to the clinic and there was much fretting on Dean's part.
