It's only the beginning of the third day and comments are soooooo low, even for juggernaut pairings. Did people wait until the end to read last year?

Also, seems like a lot of D/C this year and barely any J2. Not judging, just an interesting observation!

I'm also surprised by the amount of D/C since I feel like that part of fandom is just not so active on lj anymore. I'm not sure how slow comments are? I feel like the works got decent amounts so far, considering how many people left fandom but hurm, now that I think about it some things hit 50 pretty fast last year, so the maxima seem to be reduced by half almost? We didn't have any Sam and Dean art yet which was what did best.
I figured it was just a bad posting time for the current batch since USians weren't up yet? I always notice a huge difference in lj feedback depending on posting day and time. It's a bit surprising seeing how slow my f-list is moving but it's how it goes.

Yeah, agreed about the D/C crowd not being as active on LJ. Maybe some people made a point to come join the challenge this year after the complaints last year (that ended up with the lulzy wank about a D/C-only exchange)?

The most commented one so far is a J2 from the first day, but even that one has fewer comments than normal. Maybe commenting is down because there aren't that many J2 fics yet, and those have a bigger audience?

Also, the FD post has been a bit active (good!) but that discussion doesn't seem to be translating to comments on the actual works.

Quite a few comms are having problems with comments containing links getting screened, regardless of whether or not spam protection is on. Maybe if you added a support request for this meme it might help, the more reports they get the better, then hopefully they'll fix it.

I'm not consuming anything at the moment, but I'm making pie later and am now leafing trough a cookbook trying to pick a recipe. This is a hard choice.
