It's okay, nonnie. Slowly, Sam's shirts all start shrinking, so they ride up his belly and expose his navel. Kevin and Castiel look especially innocent when Sam's kicking the laundry machine and trying yet another detergent brand.

Sam takes to fidgeting, always trying to tug the tshirts back down over that strip of skin, but it doesn't help. Kevin and Castiel nudge each other with elbows each time he does.
There is perhaps a sewing machine deep within the bowels of the MoL bunker that Kevin uses on laundry day to take another half inch off the hem of all of Sam's shirts. Castiel runs interference.
Dean takes to teasing Sam about winter weight, wilfully ignoring that what's being revealed is stuff like the distinct cut of Sam's hip and the groove between his abdominal muscles. Dean will just prod an ab-bump and call Sam "tubby". Sam glares, and says it's a muscle. Dean just pats Sam's belly and says, whatever you need to tell yourself, Staypuft. Then they wrestle.

[Spoiler (click to open)]Dean and Castiel's story revolves around each other since Cas is the one that called Dean for the case however, they do not film every scene together as Dean is working the case pretty much alone most of the episode. Sam is with Crowley and Kevin. There are Sam and Dean scenes in the beginning and phone conversations between them throughout the episode that don't require them to be on set together to film.

That's true, and I've definitely written and read fic that fits that description, but I think the difference is that there isn't a lot of fics that explore how Sam and Kevin connect emotionally. Like with the juggernaut ships I've read enough to be able to fall into a PWP or established relationship without build-up or explanation, because I've had that itch scratched already.
Basically what I'm craving is a manifesto in longform. And a pony.
