I have no idea who this "Chad" character is, but I can appreciate it when other characters make him the butt of their jokes, as long as the real dicking goes on within the proper channels, ahem.

Chad is Chad Michael Murray. He's one of Jared's friends. They worked together on Gilmore Girls and were UPN/CW show buddies when Jared went to Supernatural and Chad went to One Tree Hill.

Most of the time, if you see a Chad in SPN RPF fic, it is Chad Michael Murray - especially if you're reading older ones.
