As they watch the wedding procession an idea springs to Jensen’s mind and Jared finds that he’s desperate enough to agree. It’s a simple enough plan-- they pretend to be engaged, get married and sell the gifts.

But when Meg nearly gets the better of them in 2005, Chronos decides to intervene, throwing two nearly-identical sets of brothers into a race against time. They're determined to ensure that "what was" remains "what shall never be"--but is Gabriel right that some things never change?

After all, Sam never wanted to be a vampire, never had a choice, so, Dean doesn't believe it's fair to kill Jared for something he had no control over. Therefore, Dean decides to take Sam in and teach him the ways of the coven. He is given one month to teach sam everything and make him a useful part of the coven. If he fails, Sam will be killed as planned.

Summary: When Jared was fourteen, he had it all figured out. His future boiled down to two things: his theater ech team, and Jensen Ackles. Now he's just seventeen, and his tech team has dug its claws into him and won't let go. Jensen, on the other hand, has left him completely. An angsty, kinda ridiculous little story about theater technicians, bright lights, and the strange curved routes of true love.

Things go from bad to worse when Castiel is snatched from right under their noises.
