It's a shame but ... imho, Quark was the only character on DS9 in whom I had the slightest interest - and I didn't even like him. I was so excited that episode wherein he had the assistant who was really on top of things and he was dismayed to find himself attracted to "him" - but then, the character was just a one-shot and it was all for naught.
:::sigh:::
Didn't help much that it was on when ST:TNG went off the air. I felt the way I did when I came home from college to find my old dog had been euthanized and a new chihuahua puppy was in the house. I still dislike chihuahuas.
Keep the K/S Advent Calendar in mind as you write in the next two months... I'm going to have to find 25 stories over five pages each! Gah. *climbs slippery mountains* Finding 25 writers (or 24, since I'm one myself) would be a lot easier than convincing the same ten people to write more than one story each.
You'd have until November 30. And sorry for using your friends-only post to bring this up... I'm random :P
Thank you! I love that you'll do that for us. I can appreciate what it takes to write something you don't personally follow. I remember this one time I had to write a K/Mc story with no K/S in it for some reason and towards the end I was literally hitting myself on the head with an acorn squash in frustration. But it turned out nicely and syredronning really liked it.
I have to get in the right spirit to write K/S. Usually, I watch an episode of TOS (one of the ones considered slashy), then I listen to romantic music (lol, yes, I listen to love songs), then I write a K/S story.
I accept all pairings, even if I don't personally share that opinion. ;-) And I know that there are a bunch of K/S shippers out there, I accept the pairing and read/write it...because...I do? Hehe. I don't actually know why I write it. It can be fun. And it helps me put my emotions to paper and with my poetry! My poetry is rather dismal, usually. So this brightens it up a bit. xD
I'm making very little sense. Hehe. Sorry about that. What I'm trying to say is the K/S pairing is cool with me :-D. And I'd be happy to write some stories for the calendar. :-)

Sorry about your dog. My dad's not fond of my cat...so I'm always watching out for the day he'll get rid of him.
