hey sorry about not knowing. D didnt call me or email me. I know how the birthday letdown goes, ive done it to myself a few times. same with holidays. you either have to set your expectations low and be grateful for the good things, the little things you have and that happen. There is crap that happens in life but you learn from it and realize there is more important stuff... which is usually small stuff like knowing you have family who loves you ...despite the fact they cant always make it across town...or that they live with you and are too busy to really take time out or are frustrated with the frustrations in life we all have. So relax and dont worry that noone did all the story book things we all are taught to believe in. they dont happen every year unless youre paris hilton. Its really the little things in life that we often over look that should be in those stories.
