It's the fact that now I can't drive to Barnes & Noble to get that Rolling Stone. Damn you, fate. Eh, but my fandom has taken much harder hits and obviously survived. This, this is just annoying. Hmph.

ROTFLOL.

Pff, I know, right. Totally bummed out by the wrong thing there. It's funny, but it's also kinda sad. *snerk*

Thanks, me too. On both accounts. It's going to cost me less than I was afraid it would, but it's still a few hundred dollars. A few hundred dollars that would be better spent on things like, oh, school. &#^&#^@ Anger. Damn deer. What the hell was he doing out there in the middle of the woods, huh?! *snerk*

Yeah, that was the European Music Awards. They were introduced as Coldplay because Coldplay were introduced as Greenday; the presenter was Borat, a character who is done by the same comedian who does Ali G. He is a Kazhakstani tv presenter who is amusingly foreign and makes mistake sometimes, hence the mixed up band names.

Aha. Thanks for the info. I never liked Ali G., so now it all makes sense. Heh. I happened upon it just as Green Day was being announced, so I had no idea what was going on, really.

Jesus Christ, I nearly choked on my cup of tea laughing at that statement. You truly have a way with words :D

Amusement aside, I hope you're ok hun. You're lucky to be alive!

Really, it was like the hugest deer I've ever seen! And thank you. I'm not physically hurt, but it's going to cost me a few hundred dollars to fix the damn car. Ouch.

Geez, that sucks. Those deer are killer. A childhood friend of mine flipped her car swerving to avoid one. Miracle she got out alive.

Seriously. When I told my parents about it, my mom was like, "Oh my god, I'm so glad you didn't hit the deer!" Not because she was worried about the deer, but because hitting one that size could've totaled the car. And, you know, me. I've known several people who've wrecked either hitting or swerving to avoid hitting a deer. Or, in the farming/ranching areas, a cow. It's just yet another reason why I hate living so far out of the city.
