OH NO. :( Sorry to hear about the accident, even sorrier to hear about the magazine. I guess you can't complain, though... at least you weren't hurt. The RS will be waiting for you when you make it to B&N. :)
True. I got out of that thinking it could've been much worse (and surprised it wasn't, actually). And the auto shop guys got me some excellent deals on replacement parts, so it's not going to cost me nearly what it could've.
Also, I, uh...did make it to the bookstore. Shouldn't have. Did it anyway. Fucking fangirl. Risked getting ticketed and/or the whole back end of the car falling apart on the way. Christ on a cracker. There are many times I cringe at the ridiculousness of my fandom, I really do.
I know, right. Sometimes, between the deer crossing the road at wholly inopportune times and the suicidal rabbits that run right in front of cars, I think these animals are purposely trying to get hit. Is woodland life so awful?
A life without geekiness is a life not worth living.
Eeeesh. My friend totaled his car by smashing into a lamp post once. And I happened to be driving with one of my other friends on the same day on the same road and we hit a lot of traffic.
It was kind of funny, after we found out no one was hurt.
