I watched it one time and liked the singing and got into the little soap opery story and decided to give it a try. The second time I watched it, I just couldn't get past the one-dimensional characatures (sp?) and gave up.

I got sucked into Glee a few weeks ago, due entirely to my love for teh gayz and the great Kurt-coming-out storyline (which is maybe 5% of the actual show). Most of the characters are conniving and annoying as hell (a la Desperate Housewives) and the songs are manic and lame. But still I soldier on, hoping they will give more air time to the gay storyline because it's rare to see a healthy gay relationship/person in primetime TV.
