Bikes, Sandwiches, and Ninjas anonymous June 13 2008, 21:54:55 UTC
Joseph V here.

I bought a bike last month, and have yet to ride it. Such a stupid I feel sometimes.

Just wanted to say hello, and wonder why we've lost contact. Is it because of the Sandwich? That would totally make sense, but you are way too awesome for me to let us loose contact because I was hungry. I know I live far away, but I'll fight to keep you a friend if I have to.

Not really sure how, though. Do they have a lot of ninjas for hire in your area?

You know, I still have that short story you wrote years ago, blaming Paris Hilton for something, floating around on one of my various hard drives. I see it sometimes and go, "What the FUCK is THIS?" and then I remember, and leave it alone, not sure if I want to read it again. That picture of a flower in a Bacardi bottle popped up unexpectedly as I was going through some of my old boxes, from when I lived in that hell house. Hey Sam, I'm wondering if you've ever run the portland marathon? It's october 5th this year and I run a lot, but not necessarily long distances, probably 5 miles, 5 days a week? I bike everywhere though and i teach 3 hour long spin classes a week. I'm in pretty good shape. Do you think 3 months is long enough to train myself for this? I'm not necessarily shooting for time, I just want to finish not dead last. Comments, facts, resources? ps. I hope you're really running a mile race with TP, he's lost a bunch of weight and quit smoking! I'm sure you know this though, it was just shocking to me the amount of effort he is putting towards this.
