I read this hours ago and it still is haunting me. I thought I had it figured out then Bam! what was really going on and it was disturbing and heartbreaking.

You did a great job with this! The imagery was dark and gory and I enjoyed that and the monsters maybe were not really monsters just a really broken, delusional mind. Either way is sad.
