i feel weird today. i dont care about appearances. sometimes when i wear i a nice shrt im confident and for some reason i dont like that. why or how can a piece of cloth make you feel more sure of yourself

Yeah, nice clothes are weird. I had to dress up for an interview and walk around town. It made me feel really important and grown up and false, which just depressed me because it made me realize that everyone else around me in nice clothes probably feels the same way at first, before it seeps into their brains and becomes reality.

some how therres got to be happy medium where i can not care about my appearance and look good. theres a girl in my art class and she dresses very plain and she says that hse wants to be a fashion designer. i think thats really funny.
