today at church not one but two people made a joke about my newly "deep purple" (is the dye name, and pretty accurate) hair, telling me it was nice but it was too early for lent (purple being the color for lent. mm church humor). it was sweet. i also really loved the sermon today. the bishop talked about this part in the gospels where jesus heals ( Read more... )

the most interesting study i learned about today: is one in which researchers at a university, i think university of michigan, told male students they were looking for people to take a simple blood glucose test, for which they had to not eat for two hours and then get blood drawn and they would be mildly compensated. half of the students were set ( Read more... )
