I love that scene when they make up after their fight. It's my favorite thing ever!

Dude, there are SO MANY people from the Sports Night fandom in the SGA fandom. Why did I not know this? LOL.

My favorite thing from the El Perro Fumundo was the arguement on what the name translates to. LOL.

Oh god the make up scene hurts so good, doesn't it? The hug. It brings tears to my eyes.

Hello, My Name is: Jacqueline
I love Sports Night because: It is well-written, well-acted and basically all the things a good TV show should be, that it is vaguely about sports is an advantage too.
Favorite Character: Dan or Dana
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: The end of Dear Louise - BOOGIE SHOES!!!
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: When Dana was freaking out in What Kind Of Day Has It Been just before Isaac returned and then Isaac's return itself.
The most groan-worthy scene was: Anything involving Jeremy and Jenny, blech.
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: A character becoming obsessed with Aussie Rules Football.
Any Sports Night fannish things you want us to know about? You can find the two drabbles I've written at waybackdown and my icons at jaymakesicons. I like to bring up SN in media tutorials as much as possible.

Oh, yes, that was an incredibly acted scene wasn't it? Felicity was brilliant in it.

Ciao! Anche io ho scoperto SN da poco. Such a short time ago, in fact, that I've only seen the first few episodes. I always forget how all the foreign shows are dubbed in Italy. E sempre con le stesse voci!

Hope to bump into you during the chat.

Ciao! Che bello trovare qualcuno che parla l'italiano! (Can I speak to you completely in Italian or I better use english anyway? I saw you moved to UK years ago, that's why I'm asking! ;) Io ho visto tutti gli episodi e ti consiglio davvero di andare avanti, ne vale la pena!

Italian dubbing is not SO bad in general - I heard in some other European countries is far worse than here. We have some really lovely voices and I like the ones they choose for SN (but yes, they often are always the *same* voices from one show to another. We have Casey talking with the same voice of SPN's John Winchester, and it's kind of funny XD). Only, some dialogues have been completely screwed up. And I don't know why, but *slashy* dialogues have been screwed up more than others, and this just plain sucks in my eyes :\

Hello. L'italiano non e' un problema, lo parlo ancora piuttosto spesso. It's only that I feel I bit rude doing it here because no-one else will understand. I just thought I'd surprise you. *g*

I only said that about the dubbing because I remember it from when I lived with my parents. It always seemed to be the same actors doing the voiceovers, all speaking this bizarrely perfect Italian. I mean, it took years before I realised that some of the characters in Star Trek were meant to have quirky accents. And the translations were always a bit dodgy, especially when a joke came along. I don't see Italian TV very often these days because I only go and visit 3 or 4 times a year, but I see nothing much has changed. :)

Hello, My Name is: Nomi
I love Sports Night because: I love Sorkin's writing, and "Sports Night" has some of the snappiest and tightest writing.
Favorite Character: Dan, with Casey a close second
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: Oh, too hard to choose. Right up there is from "Intellectual Property," Dan's discussion with Isaac about which song in the public domain he's going to sing on Isaac's birthday
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: Again, too hard to choose. I'm going to go with the "You're wearing my shirt" scene between Casey and Gordon in "Sally."
The most groan-worthy scene was: Can I count the whole dating plan here?
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: A more solid resolution of the Dana/Sam plot
Any Sports Night fannish things you want us to know about? Alas, I cannot think of anything at this moment.

Yes! I completely agree, that was so unsatisfying. I really liked Sam as a character, and his interaction with Dana was a lot of fun.

A more solid resolution of the Dana/Sam plot

I would have loved to see that too. Sam was a great character and I think that plot's resolution or lack there of is one of the biggest mistakes the SN writers ever made.
